This role is based at our corporate office in Pt. Richmond with a Mon-Friday schedule.

Job Description

HR Duties:
- Partner with HR Manager on employee relations issues and staffing objectives
- Process bi-weekly payroll and focus on the administrative tasks associated with HR recording, policy and procedure
- Process liaison for employee relations questions and concerns, leaves of absence, paid time off, workers compensation, etc.
- Supports recruiting by sourcing and setting up interviews, coordinating applicant paperwork, and maintaining the on-line recruiting system as required
- Support the employment life cycle such as setting up background screens, onboarding dashboards, employee systems setup, etc---
- Provide benefit assistance to all employees
- Support in the posting and updating of open positions
- Assist with special projects as assigned by management
- Assist in resolving human resources issues in a timely and effective manner, partnering with the HR Manager

Office Duties:

- Maintain cleanliness/appearance of office
- Monitor & Purchase supplies - paper, ink, coffee, creamer, tea, etc.
- Keep breakroom clean (daily) and well stocked
- Support meetings with tech setup, food/lunch ordering and other related tasks
- Greet visitors, kindly turn away solicitors
- Act as lead contact for IT/Tech Support and coordinate any troubleshoot needs of team
- Communicate with Property Management as needed
- Prepare outgoing mail - fold mail, stuff envelopes, meter envelopes, bills to be paid
- Filing - invoices, checks, customer files, end of year archiving, etc.
- Support CEO with employee gifts, occasional shipments, etc.
- Update administrative and department forms as needed
- Other duties & projects as needed

Required Skills and Abilities

- Knowledge of the following applications: ADP Run or WorkForce Now, preferred
- Basic math skills, required
- Organized, detail-oriented, and possess outstanding follow through skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive data
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and initiative
- Ability to use computer and learn new software programs; must be proficient in office procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent data entry and strong documentation skills
- Must be adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people
- Possesses ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Education/Experience

Associate Degree in a related field and 2+ years in related, Human Resources or Administration experience.
