offers the opportunity to provide physical therapy services within
a school district setting, supporting students from preschool
through high school across multiple schools. The role involves
working approximately 18 to 22.5 hours per week, delivering both
direct therapy and consultation services to a caseload of about 40
students. Responsibilities include assessing and treating students'
physical therapy needs, collaborating with educators and other
professionals to develop individualized plans, and monitoring
progress to enhance student participation and performance in the
school environment. The position requires flexibility to work
across seven different schools throughout the district, adapting to
varied student needs and school cultures. Key qualifications and
experience: Valid physical therapy license with experience in
pediatric or school-based physical therapy Ability to provide both
direct therapy and consultative support Experience working with
children from preschool age through high school Strong
communication skills for effective collaboration with
multidisciplinary teams Organized approach to managing caseload and
documentation requirements Location: This contract role is based in
the Pittsburg, CA area within the school district, requiring travel
