Job Description:
Location: Richmond, CA Description: Our client is currently
seeking a continuous improvement engineer in CA.As part of the
Operational Excellence group, this role will work to drive
improvement and productivity throughout our California Center.---
Partner with training to develop curriculum focused on problem
solving, lean and six sigma across the organization.--- Determine
methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of
materials and utilities.--- Establish standard of work and systems
to monitor ongoing results and KPI's.--- Analyze workforce
utilization, facility layout, and operational data including
production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules to
determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
Qualifications---- B.S degree in Industrial Engineering, a related
field or equivalent experience.--- A minimum 2-4 years of
successful experience in a food production environment,
distribution or supply chain management.
