Job Description Job Description Primary Job Title: Electro/Mechanical Assembler Alternate / Related Job Titles: Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician Manufacturing Assembly Technician Mechanical Assembler Production Assembly Technician Electro-Mechanical Technician Location & Onsite Flexibility: Newark, DE — Onsite Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 12 Months Start: As Soon As Possible Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate ( based on experience ) Shift/Hours: First Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 40 hours/week Job Summary The Electro/Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with approved specifications and quality standards. This role supports both sub-assembly and system-level manufacturing activities and plays a key role in ensuring products meet regulatory, safety, and performance requirements. The assembler will work hands-on using basic tools and test equipment while following documented procedures, completing manufacturing records, and supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Assembly & Testing Build, test, and inspect electro-mechanical assemblies per specification Perform sub-assembly and system-level assembly and testing as required Conduct in-process testing during manufacturing activities Perform assembly and test requirements for reconditioned hardware , when applicable Support packaging activities within Instruments Manufacturing as needed Quality, Compliance & Documentation Complete Device History Records (DHRs) accurately and on time Maintain compliance with QSR, ISO, Environmental Health & Safety policies Support internal audits of manufacturing processes to ensure regulatory compliance Participate in identifying workplace risks and implementing controls to reduce injury Tools, Equipment & Systems Use basic hand tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, and soldering irons Read and follow assembly procedures, test procedures, and mechanical drawings Utilize basic mechanical inspection tools such as calipers and indicators Use basic electrical test equipment such as multimeters Support day-to-day manufacturing and service operations as needed Provide training support when requested Required Experience & Skills Required (Must-Have) Hands-on experience with mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and drawings Basic computer skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred / Nice-to-Have Familiarity with Oracle systems Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment Exposure to inspection, testing, or quality documentation Education High School Diploma or equivalent experience and/or training Additional Role Details Powered equipment operation: Not required Work is primarily hands-on assembly using hand tools First-shift, onsite manufacturing environment Contract Benefits (U.S. Jobs Only) Medical Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Client Overview Our client is an innovative medical technology company dedicated to empowering healthier lives, with a strong focus on women’s health and well-being .
