Job Description: U.S. Pipe and Foundry is seeking a Maintenance
Intern. Our internship program is designed to provide practical
hands-on experience with industrial equipment, repairs, and
preventative maintenance. Mentorship from skilled engineers and
maintenance professionals. Opportunities to work on impactful
projects that improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
Exposure to technical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and process
improvements. Professional development through periodic progress
meetings and a final project presentation. This internship can lead
to a full-time employment opportunity at US Pipe. Essential
Functions: Assist with equipment installations, repairs, and
troubleshooting for manufacturing machinery. Support preventative
maintenance efforts to reduce downtime and improve operational
efficiency. Work alongside maintenance technicians to diagnose
mechanical and electrical issues. Help with updating technical
documentation and equipment maintenance records. Participate in
continuous improvement projects to enhance safety and productivity.
Skills & Other Requirements: Currently pursuing a degree in
Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechanical/Electrical
Maintenance, or a related field. Strong problem-solving and
technical skills with a hands-on approach. Basic knowledge of
mechanical systems, electrical systems, or automation preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical documentation is a
plus. Excellent teamwork and communication abilities. Willingness
to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a manufacturing
