Directly responsible for a group of designated suppliers within the Specialty Division scope. Works directly with suppliers and all sales divisions to develop an action plan to maximize brand performance and company's profitability. Position is responsible to maintain material master and set-up, costing, pricing and programming for designated suppliers. Possesses and applies a wide degree of specialized knowledge of industry principles, practices, regulations and procedures. Effectively works with the management team to produce effective sales tools to educate and promote products within the company's portfolio.

Essential Duties (Primary) include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Works with suppliers and the sales executive management to identify needs and resources necessary to attain brand/supplier and company objectives
Identifies needs, initiates and facilitates the optimal implementation of sales tools, such as promotional programs, discounts, promotional materials, etc.
Evaluates and examines assigned brand products, inventory, prices and profitability on a routine basis and recommends/initiates the appropriate changes
Responsible for product sales margin for designated suppliers
Reviews and communicates inventory needs to the Purchasing Department based on sales, supplier projections, wholesale pricing & programs, and price changes
Monitors and maintains pricing database by verifying and updating FOB's (Free on Board), freight rates, Laid-in-price, margin, and discounts. Reviews loaded pricing to ensure accuracy.
Validates financial implications of programs and incentives
Initiates and oversees all low gross profit issues, incorrect billings and chargeback discrepancies which are to be resolved under this position in conjunction with Wine Warehouse sales management, suppliers and brokers
Maintains State price posting as directed
Maintains e-commerce programs as directed

Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail/distribution environment
Demonstrated ability to set priorities, direct projects, and meet deadlines
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills and accuracy in pricing by segment cost and rollup costs
Demonstrated ability to understand rates, ratios, percentages, gross and nets, sales markups, margins and related computations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Proficient in advanced level of Excel and Word. SAP and Google Suite experience is preferred
Beverage industry experience as it relates to the knowledge of standard laws and regulations is preferred
Superb verbal and written communication in English language is required
Ability to manage effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Knowledge and skills in managing supplier bill-backs, purchasing functionality for all Company's sales channels
