can succeed. Who you are As the Senior Director, Project
Management, you're responsible for managing the project management
team and all aspects of pre-design, design, construction, and
close-out phases of construction projects. You may also lead
projects of larger and more complex scope. You will also guide and
assist the Project Management team; and will oversee the successful
and profitable completion of projects and services, from project
scope definition through on-site completion of construction.
Likewise, as the Senior Director of Project Management, you'll
pursue and secure new business opportunities, with internal and
external clients; and will support Colliers' efforts to grow the
business. What you bring Bachelor's degree in architecture,
engineering, interior design or construction management Minimum 10
years' experience in project management / construction management /
facility management within a commercial real estate environment or
related field/industry. Certified Healthcare Construction (ASHE) is
a plus Proven track record of successfully managing large projects
for global clients Experience managing large project teams, strong
leadership skills Ability to be a self-starter, and the ability to
prioritize tasks, and efficiently manage time Excellent people
skills in regard to mentoring and staff development Good knowledge
of the real estate development process, the construction industry,
the Design/Build process, and trends impacting the business Ability
to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Bonus
skills and experience Project Management Professional (PMP)
training is preferred Strong skills in the following areas: human
relations, financial analysis, budgeting, relationship building,
time management, planning and organizing, written and verbal
communications What success looks like Provide leadership and
mentoring to all Project Management staff Provide strategic
leadership for the profitability and growth of the company, in
accordance with Colliers strategic business objectives Identify and
generate new sources of revenue from internal and external clients.
Lead the Project Management team in new and ongoing business
development efforts Drive the Project Management team to meet and
exceed performance standards Maintain positive relationships with
customers and vendors, as well as creating new client and industry
relationships Collaborate with internal service companies (Real
Estate Brokerage, Real Estate Management Services, Design and
Engineering and Property Services) to identify cross selling
opportunities to benefit the overall organization Analyze workflow
and operational inefficiencies, and recommend changes needed to
create maximum productivity Ability to understand clients' needs
and expectations on projects (budget limitations, design needs,
schedule impacts, etc.) Coordinate project management of multiple
projects and ensure appropriate project documentation is performed
on each project Identify cost saving and improved delivery
opportunities to benefit clients and projects Assemble and manage
the necessary resources that are required to complete successful
projects, including outside consultants and vendors You will
successfully manage your assigned accounts by providing expertise
