The Community School Team Manager (CSTM) will provide vision and
leadership to the BACR cluster of Full Service Community Schools
and School-based Wellness Centers in the East Bay to ensure
effective implementation of these efforts. Through overall
programmatic leadership, guidance and support to the team of
Community School and Wellness Center Managers, the CSTM will
nurture high-quality community schools and wellness centers that
promote racial and social justice, youth and family voice, and
enhance the ability of young people and families to thrive.
Benefits: Salary range: $85,000 - $90,000 annually
Approximately 7 weeks off per year (including holidays)

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in social work,
education, or related field, and three years of experience
preferred. Experience may substitute.
Knowledge of best or promising practices in the fields of community
schools, youth development and leadership and family engagement
Proven experience working with public school systems, including the
development of community schools and the creation and facilitation
of community partnerships
Proven experience fostering school change and school-based
Demonstrated success in program planning/management activities
furthering school success, student achievement, and positive child,
youth, and family development Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish
Responsibilities: Nurture the development, implementation, and
evaluation of school site-level community schools and wellness
Work closely with our district and city partners to support the
design and implementation of Community School Initiative goals,
directions, and deliverables.
Hire and provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentoring of
program coordinators to ensure effective implementation of
Community School/Wellness Center goals and activities (e.g.
Needs/Asset Assessments, data collection and analysis, program
planning, strategies for meaningful caregiver engagement, youth
leadership, and effective transitions).
Create processes and systems to enhance effectiveness across sites,
such as referral tracking, community partner outreach and
Provide leadership in identifying resource needs and engage in
resource development, including community in-kind services and
funding opportunities to meet the needs of youth and families.
Maintain fiscal oversight of programs, human resource management
and grant compliance, including monitoring and approving of time
sheets, program expenses, time off requests as well as support in
disciplinary actions and assuring all aspects of grant
Responsible for the necessary administrative tasks, such as
development of MOUs, facilitation of regular meetings, planning
sessions and work plan creation.
