We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic Buyer Experience & Verticals team. In this role, you will be responsible for the product experience for Value Added Services (or Add-on Services) on eBay. The Value Added Services technology platform enables services like Authenticity Guarantee, Vault and Warranties that are critical to eBays verticals specific experiences. This platform is woven into the fabric of eBay, end to end, and this role will require driving projects with a lot of partners across eBay. You will be working closely with multiple verticals teams like Luxury, Collectibles, Motors to drive our understanding of customer, market and business needs. You will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of e-Commerce and business at scale and partner with many cross-functional teams within eBay. You will also participate in user research to better understand our customers through both qualitative (site visits, usability testing etc.) and quantitative (metrics, surveys, etc.) techniques. You will create exciting roadmaps and help sell the vision to our highly cross-functional organization. You will execute on the roadmap in collaboration with our partners and help us do the right thing for our customers and our businesses. Responsibilities:

  • Develop the vision and roadmap for eBay onsite product experience for new Add-ons / Value Added Services as well as improve existing services
  • Define functional requirements to enable large scale UX and platform updates
    • Manage communication with executives and align the global teams on the product roadmap
    • Develop customer insights that inform what we should be building by leveraging data insights, partnering with other eBay cross-functional teams, and by meeting with eBay users
    • Manage a scrum team of engineers to deliver projects on time using Agile methodologies
      • Prioritize features and manage the backlog. Coordinate, facilitate and drive efforts across groups Job requirements:
        • Strong customer empathy and a passion for building great customer experiences across web & mobile devices
        • Experience with both user facing as well as platform products, working in partnership with engineering leads, UX designers, and business partners
        • Excellent project management skills and the ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.
        • Solid technical background, with experience in working with engineering teams to manage software products using agile methodologies
        • Excellent written and oral communication skills are key. Our team constantly communicates with executives and you are expected to build and communicate vision, roadmap and execution plans
        • Ability to analyze data and work with analytics partners to determine what tracking is needed, how the results will be reported etc.
        • Capability to work independently and drive projects with many moving parts
        • 7 or more years of Product Management or equivalent experience
