This position must produce accurate, independent work and be detail-oriented.
-Benefits and Salary: - -Excellent pay. This exempt position starts at $75,000 - $90,000 per year with annual increases. - -Outstanding retirement. Company pays 10% additionally ($7,500 - $9,000 annually) after two years of eligibility is met. - -Tons of time off. 6 weeks of paid time off, plus holidays. - -Awesome insurance. Essential Functions: --- -Develop and implement efficient systems for processing and reporting on grants (federal, state, local and foundation). ---- -Prepare and submit accurate and timely funder reports and invoices. --- -Prepare and monitor vendor contracts and invoicing. --- -Work closely with finance team to ensure grants accounting is in alignment with grant funding terms and conditions and agency cost allocation plan.--- -Participate in monthly closing process. Review GL and accounts coding to ensure proper grants accounting.--- -Support budgeting, forecasting, and trends for 20+ dually funded locations. -Qualifications: --- -Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent (BA Degree preferred). --- -Two years accounting experience (non-profit experience preferred). --- -Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices. --- -Strong written and verbal communication skills. --- -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other computer programs necessary to perform the duties of the job -Why the Y: The YMCA is a mission-oriented, growing non-profit originally founded in 1903.
