Job Description:

The Assemble Marketplace, located in beautiful Point Richmond, CA, is located right on the San Francisco Bay. PB Development Group is looking for a dedicated and driven General Manager to run restaurant and bar operations with the goal of creating a Bay Area culinary staple following the reopening in April, 2023.
Assemble will be operated alongside a brand new indoor pickleball facility, which will be opening August 1, 2023!

Our team is committed to creating a restaurant that is built to last, while maximizing customer satisfaction. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire restaurant and bar operations, while cultivating a fun and welcoming environment.

We are searching for a candidate with skills and experience including, but not limited to:
1. Previous experience and success in managing restaurant and bar operations
2. Experience with ordering, communicating with vendors, and knowledge of monthly inventory
3. Food Service Management Certification
4. Constructive and effective leadership style, cultivating collaboration with staff, while bringing out the best in each employee's capabilities
5. Strong problem-solving skills work ethic, and a positive attitude
6. A desire to grow with the company through a symbiotic relationship - we want a win for one of us to be a win for both of us
Responsibilities:
--- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders
--- Supervise food prep and cooking
--- Check food plating and temperature
--- Maintain portion sizes
--- Schedule kitchen staff shifts appropriately
--- Assist in menu pricing in collaboration with the PB Development Group team
--- Order food supplies and assist with kitchen equipment needs
--- Train kitchen staff on prep work
--- Keep uniform food plating techniques
--- Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)
--- Assist with weekly and monthly food cost reports
--- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
--- Cultivate a fun and energetic atmosphere at Assemble Marketplace
--- Ensure maximized customer satisfaction
