Within Overaa the Self -Perform Group executes a specific carveout
portion of the work and select projects assigned to (SPG). This
works includes projects ranging from Tilt-ups, Building Slab on
Grades, Civil Foundations in the industrial markets,
water/wastewater treatment plants and sitework packages. The
Self-Perform Group Project Manager (SPGPM) sets the tone for the
project with careful pre-planning and assists in execution of SPG
work. They build collaborative client and stakeholder
relationships. They inspire, motivate, mentor and help manage a
highly specialized and skilled workforce of 40 craftsmen to
successfully complete projects safely in accordance with Overaa's
values. The SPGPM is responsible to deliver multiple projects on
schedule and within budget and manage all the moving parts to make
that happen. A generous bonus plan, including a labor bonus for
man- hours saved on every SPG project is included.

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for tactical project execution including project
approach and deliverables.
Direct and motivate personnel and trade partners to achieve
completion of the project on schedule, within budget, and with
quality craftsmanship.
Manage administrative and contractual obligations including,
submittals, schedule, shop drawings, subcontracts and purchase
orders needed to execute SPG's portion of the project.
Business development activities including the responsibility to
build strategic partnerships with key client accounts, internal and
external. SPG's internal client, Overaa Construction accounts for
90% of the work annually. This is fun, get in and out, no claims or
external pressures, just being real builders for supportive
internal customers.
Participate in project pursuits including strategy, assisting with
estimating and preconstruction services.
Promote job site safety and encourage safe work practices. Complete
all Overaa company safety training as required.
Qualifications
2- 5 years of relevant project experience in of all phases of
construction.
Degree in Construction Management or related field.
Organized with a systematic approach to achieve high level
results.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage
diverse personalities.
High emphasis on collaboration, innovation and entrepreneurial
problem solver
Expertise in QSP, SWIPP, LEED and sustainability is a plus.
Knowledge of Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD,
Primavera, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, and Viewpoint project
manager software is a plus.
