Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the academic and instructional programs for students in Transitional Kindergarten through third grade, including attending and maintaining appropriate files for all IEP and Student Success Team (SST) meetings. Supervises teachers in grades TK through third grade, leads weekly coaching sessions for teachers, conducts classroom observations, supports goal-setting, and completes evaluations. Maintains a strong, age-appropriate school culture and responds to all discipline matters that take place with students in TK through third grade. Collaborates with the Director of Upper School to plan and implement monthly Professional Development opportunities, yearly calendar, instructional minute schedules, PD meetings, teacher evaluations, and other school-related events. Coordinates administration of school-wide assessments, including MAP, DRA, and SBAC, analyzes data, and supports teachers in creating action plans. Communicates regularly with CEO, Director of Upper School, Director of Operations, Family Engagement Coordinator, and all other school leaders and staff. Attends monthly School Site Council meetings, family engagement events, and other school-related activities. Supports the mission, vision, and core values of Richmond College Prep. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred Valid Multiple Subject teaching credential 5+ years teaching experience required; administrative or teacher leadership experience Knowledge and experience with culturally responsive pedagogy Excellent organization, time management, interpersonal skills, and a high sense of urgency To Apply: Application Materials Resume Cover Letter Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $67,000 - $87,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
