Home health experience is preferred but not required. The assigned county territory includes multiple areas. Two options are available: guaranteed hours or non-guaranteed hours. If guaranteed, the following applies: productivity of at least 27 points per week. A total of 36 hours are guaranteed. Travelers must complete 30 points in the week. Flexibility to travel outside the area or work weekends is required to maintain visit expectations. If patients are refused, the guarantee does not apply. The guarantee does not apply for the first and last week of assignment, weeks with holidays, or weeks when the traveler has time off. For non-guaranteed hours, weekend coverage may be required. Travelers may need to go outside the service area occasionally to secure a full caseload. Patients can be refused. Payment is made on a per-visit basis. Visit types and how they convert to points and hours will determine the hours approved per day. In evaluations and routine visits, each visit typically equals 1 point, translating to 1.33 hours. Although travelers are paid hourly, hours are approved on a per-visit basis. The rate is all-inclusive and covers travel time, visit time, documentation time, and communication time with patients and doctors. All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission. If time off is added post-confirmation, the agency may face removal from the vendor set. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. Position urgency is considered normal.
