Experience: Minimum 2 years License: California RN license
Certifications: CNOR preferred, BLS Description: Please submit a
complete resume. Open Heart Experience required. Five 8-hour
shifts. Unit Information: Number of Beds: 12 OR rooms Number of
Staff: 38 RNs, 6 PD RNs, 12 Benefited Techs, 1 PD Tech. Type of
Staff: - Day Shift: Current 16 Benefited RNs including charge, 6-7
OR Techs. - Mid Shift: 4 Teams. - Evening Shift: 1 Team. Patient
Ratios: Does not apply. Type of Equipment: Perioperative equipment,
EMR - Meditech. Typical Hiring Profile: Skill Set Most recruited
for: RN. Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be
considered for the role. For heart room, any RN without Heart
Experience will be excluded. Preferred or nice to have: Candidates
with these skills will be considered first. Heart Experience for
the heart room. CNOR would be beneficial. Other area skills in
different specialties like Robotics, Orthopedics, Eye, GYN, ENT,
Plastics, Thoracic, and General. List of Typical Procedures
Performed: Neuro, Spine, Total Joint, Gastric Sleeves, Major
General Surgery, ENT, Pediatric, Urology, Heart - CABG and Valves.
Best Personality Fit: Works well in teams. Flexible and pleasant
demeanor. Floating Area(s): May float to pre-op. Dress Code: Scrubs
provided by the hospital. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Will orient to
policy on site. Weekends and On-Call: Will rotate call with the
rest of the staff. Call rotation will be discussed during the
