Vascular Technologist/ Registered Vascular Specialist Sonographer

full-time RVT/RVS sonographer to our clinical team. Our vascular
surgery practice focuses on the specialization of minimally
invasive endovascular revascularization procedures and a wide
variety of various other (non-cardiac) vascular treatment options
that concentrate on venous and arterial diseases. Our locations
require onsite availability at our Salinas and Aptos locations. The
ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in direct patient
care. Additionally, a self-starter, that can work with a dynamic
healthcare team. Experience in interventional radiology, dialysis,
and cath lab is a plus. The RVT/RVS will provide a written,
preliminary technical worksheet of the examination to the ordering
physician or attending RN. Will Perform other exams such as venous
dopplers and exams to rule out pseudo-aneurysms. Experience with
segmental pressures, fistulas, vein mapping, arterial duplex and
venous with reflux exams. This is a challenging, fast-paced job
with Monday to Friday schedule, NO nights, and weekend shifts.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Our employees enjoy a

employment. Responsibilities and Duties: Perform arterial dopplers
and relaying accurate reports to the nurse. Excellent bedside
manner is a must. Create a draft of the ultrasound report, for the
physician to later review, edit as needed, and finalize.
Technically supports the noninvasive vascular lab in providing
noninvasive vascular studies in coordination with the departments
medical and technical team and in compliance with established
standards. Perform other exams such as venous dopplers and exams to
rule out pseudo-aneurysms. While daily volume fluctuates, there are
occasions where up to 15 studies/day will be required. Thus, the
RVT/RVS, should be able to perform high quality, efficient scans.
Proficiently performing lower extremity venous exams for patency
and venous insufficiency studies for reflux. Collaborating with
other sonographers, maintaining a professional attitude with all
coworkers and patients. Other duties as assigned. Experience:
RVT/RVS sonographer: 2-3 years in dialysis, critical care, ICU, ER,
or outpatient ASC/ cath lab/ OBL (Preferred) Basic Computer Skills
Bilingual Spanish is a plus Strong communication, interpersonal and
organizational skills Excellent hand/eye coordination Great
attitude along with people skills Attention to detail Previous OR
experience with vascular/endovascular, interventional radiology, or
cardiovascular procedures (prefer OR circulating experience for
endovascular). Position Requirements : Certification of completion
of a sonography program, with emphasis in vascular technology, OR
or equivalent experience. Must have an appropriate credential
(RVT/RVS) Current BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart
