Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a skilled multi-modality imaging technologist with expertise in at least two imaging modalities such as CT and X-ray. This contract position is based in Fremont, OH, and involves working a scheduled shift from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., with every fourth weekend and every other holiday on call. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including two years of CT experience within a hospital environment. Key Qualifications and Experience: Certified and registered with ARRT or RDMS, with at least two imaging modality certifications or the ability to obtain within 12 months Ohio Licensure required; BLS certification preferred (must be obtained prior to direct patient care if not held) Experience with GE CT and X-ray equipment is preferred Prior experience working with Emergency Department patients is a strong advantage Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EPIC), PACS, and RIS systems preferred Ability to perform venipuncture, administer contrast under supervision, and utilize power injectors Skilled in patient communication, safety screening, and working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across two modalities accurately and safely, following approved protocols Obtain and verify patient identifiers and clinical history to ensure correct imaging and documentation Apply radiation and patient safety principles to minimize risk and ensure quality imaging Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patient condition throughout procedures Manage a daily caseload averaging approximately three patients per hour, adapting to staffing needs Provide on-call coverage as scheduled Maintain compliance with continuing education requirements and institutional policies Work Environment and Physical Demands:This role requires working in a fast-paced hospital environment with occasional exposure to high stress situations, physical interaction with patients, and varying environmental conditions.
