This role offers the chance to work with students in grades 7 through 12, supporting their developmental and educational progress within a district-wide caseload. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) support is provided to help maximize service delivery and student outcomes. Qualifications for this position include an active Occupational Therapist license in California, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards of care. The contract commences on January 14, 2026, and concludes on March 30, 2026, offering a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week spread over five days. Key responsibilities include assessing and providing therapeutic intervention plans tailored for middle and high school students, collaborating with educators and families, and documenting progress to meet individual educational plans (IEPs). This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including partnership with COTA staff.
