Job Description ProKatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Fairfield, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Skills: Communication: Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills. Physical Effort: Performs all physical duties of the job. Requires lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and fine motor skills. /n/n Other: Completion of annual organizational requirements for employment. Utilizes effective communication skills to facilitate safe patient hand offs Documents nursing care per hospital policies. Utilizes manual and automated information systems to improve efficiency and effect productivity. Patient Satisfaction Accountable to meet or exceed unit and organizational goals. Contributes to positive patient care experience through their individual interactions with patients and families. Accountable to understand the impact of personal behaviors on patient experience. Accountable to assist in the resolution of complaints with the goal of immediate resolution if possible. Investigates physician, employee, and patient complaints and provides information to the CNIV or Clinical Manager. Performs other duties as assigned. /n/n Education: Experience: Minimum acute care three years (3) experience required. Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing. Associate Degree or BSN accepted. Required: CA RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS /n/n Schedule Notes: Days - 3x12s 36 hours per week ASAP starts 8 weeks Must have triage experience. Must be willing and able to float to sister facility and other departments as requested and qualified. Department is on AWS.
