Production Chef de Cuisine to lead our Bon Appétit team in a
culinary leadership role. The Chef de Cuisine holds accountability
for the culinary execution and operational success of the
production facility, serving as the primary steward of food quality
and innovation. In this role, you will architect the daily
production experience, driving high-level innovation and ensuring
the highest standards of service efficiency. This position requires
diverse culinary techniques, a passion for sustainable gastronomy,
and a proven ability to lead, mentor, and elevate a high-performing
kitchen team. You will strategically manage complex administrative
and operational functions, including production scheduling, budget

philosophy! Key Responsibilities Strategize Food & Workplace
Safety: Set the standard for and rigorously oversee workplace and
food safety protocols, including comprehensive allergen management
and facility-wide compliance. Lead High-Volume Execution: Spearhead
the production strategy by overseeing the execution of complex
recipes at scale, ensuring every batch reflects seasonal trends and
creative excellence. Optimize Production Flow: Design and oversee
all menu, production, and prep systems; ensure total team adherence
to operational checklists and responsibility guides to maintain a
world-class manufacturing environment. Direct Nutritional Quality:
Oversee the creation of thoughtfully balanced, nourishing meals
that align with the program’s wellness goals and fuel our users
throughout the day. Cultivate Team Excellence: Actively mentor and
develop the Sous Chefs and production team, fostering a culture of
continuous learning, professional growth, and high-level
performance. Manage Administrative & Technical Tasks: Oversee
critical timelines for payroll, inventory, and production logs;
ensure all hiring and safety training standards are met and
documented. Sustainable Sourcing: Take ownership of procurement
strategies, ensuring all ingredients and products are sourced in
strict alignment with sector sustainability standards and financial
targets. Promote Engaging Teamwork: Establish and maintain an
expectation of collaborative teamwork that is friendly,
professional, and results-oriented across all production shifts.
Preferred Qualifications Education: Degree from culinary
institution preferred, not required. Culinary Leadership: A minimum
of 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or 4 years in a culinary
management role within a high-volume, premium food service
environment. Production Experience: Track record in large-scale
culinary production or central production unit management. Safety
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to drive and enhance a robust
culture focused on Food and Workplace Safety at a leadership level.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer and technical skills,
including knowledge of Google Suite tools and production management
software. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication
skills, with the ability to provide clear direction to a diverse
team. Union Management: Experience managing and navigating in a
Union Environment is a plus. Certifications: ServSafe Manager
Certification is plus. While this schedule and location are
