Job Description Job Description Job Title: Class A CDL Driver Location: Yuba-Sutter Area Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour (DOE) Job Type: Full-Time Shift: 8-Hour Shifts (Start time between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM) Overview: Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver for a local company in the Yuba-Sutter area. This position involves transporting concrete materials such as blocks, rails, and other heavy products to and from various job sites within a 9-mile radius. The ideal candidate will have strong driving experience, a solid understanding of safety standards, and the ability to assist with loading and unloading using a forklift and shuttle lift. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a Class A CDL truck with a manual (stick shift) transmission to deliver concrete materials. Load and unload materials at job sites using a forklift and shuttle lift. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate deliveries. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and inspections. Secure all materials properly to prevent damage or shifting during transport. Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL with manual (stick shift) transmission experience with no restrictions. Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in construction or materials transport. Ability to operate a forklift and shuttle lift (training available if needed). Strong understanding of DOT and company safety regulations. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy materials. Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented. Flexible with start times between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods while driving. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials and tools. Ability to climb in and out of trucks and operate loading equipment. Compensation & Benefits: Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience). Full-time, long-term opportunity.
