Visit us on www.parker.com/verifloPosition Summary Duties and Responsibilities: Set-up, edit programs, and operate CNC lathe and milling machines. Performs precision bench and floor work, uses precision measuring instruments, reads blueprints, makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work and determination of machining feed speeds. Inspect work in process and finished product using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauge pins, etc. Responsible for set up and production of quality parts made to specification of the drawings and/or instructions from the Employer's engineers or management. Machine product with tight tolerances in stainless material. Clean and inspect work site and properly store tools. Works in coordination with Machinist Lead to meet/exceed production targets. Required to perform work safely and adhere to the company's Health and Safety regulations. Job Qualifications: 5 - 10 years machining experience in high volume production environment. Ability to read and comprehend complex drawings. Proficient in making program edits, setting up, and operating lathes and mills for complex parts. Programming experience preferred. Must be reliable, self-motivated, and committed to working safe. All successful candidates must pass drug/alcohol screening and authorize Veriflo to conduct a criminal background check. Positions are represented by International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO, Local 1584 (Bay Area District 190).Initiation fee/monthly dues are required.
