Job Description:

Do you enjoy providing recreational programs to youth, teens adults and seniors? Are you available to work a part-time, flexible schedule? If so, consider becoming a valuable member of the Community Services Department who is dedicated to enriching the quality of life in Richmond through its recreation programs, facilities and cultural events. As a member of the Community Services Department, you will perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled recreation duties; implement recreational activities; provide leadership and direction for recreational programs; supervise facilities, special events, sport leagues and excursions; and provide guidance to groups engaged in recreation activities; and performs other related duties as required. Multiple positions are available, and applicants must be energetic, positive, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with youth, teens, adults and seniors. These are part-time non-benefitted positions. Successful candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and shift assignments.
