Job Description:
Sign on bonus of $3,000 upon 60 days of successful
employmentProviding a wide range of trauma-informed behavioral and
mental health prevention and intervention programs in culturally
diverse elementary, middle and high schools in West Contra Costa.
We are looking for dynamic, skilled clinicians who can bring
engaged psychological, emotional, and behavioral support to
students, and their families and integrate into the unique school
culture with which they serve.This position is hybrid and requires
you to travel to your assigned East Bay school site. Weekly in
person meetings are required at our El Cerrito Office.Benefits:Pay:
$31- 35/hour, depending on licensure; additional supplement for
bilingual Spanish in certain positions.Approximately 7 weeks off

while getting paidMinimum Qualifications:Master's Degree in
Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Psychology.Experience working
in schools within a multicultural, diverse, urban
community.Understanding of trauma-informed practices is
required.Experience and commitment to collaborating with parents,
teachers and school staff.Enjoys participating and positively
impacting school culture, being a proactive, engaged mental health
leader, mediating and advocating on behalf of children and
families, enjoys and thrives collaborating in a complex culturally
rich community systemPreferred:Spanish language highly
desirableExperience with Medi-Cal paperwork a plus.Open to
self-reflection, introspection and exploring areas of self as they
pertain to the clinical work.Responsibilities:Provide
trauma-informed, strengths-based individual, group and family
mental health services, including therapy, family consultation,
case management, and prevention education.Provide relevant
school-focused behavioral health services including, but not
limited to:Classroom prevention education (e.g. communication
skills, Anti-bullying/Be an Ally mindfulness practices.)Teacher
in-services on desired mental health topicsParticipate on school's
intervention teams (e.g. CARE teams.)Provide crisis intervention
and trauma response as neededProvide family education opportunities
as neededConsult with school administration, faculty and staff on
specific youth and families and on school mental health issues in
general. Participate is SST, IEP meetings.Work with school staff,
administrators, Community School Managers, and parents to
