And it's not just food - we work across industries to make products that are higher quality, healthier and better for the planet.Everything we do is about Making Better Happen---.AAK LOCATION Richmond, CA USAAbout the role The Maintenance Electrician performs complex technical work at a highly experienced level in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures, and related elctro-mechanical systems in accordance with applicable electrical industry codes. AAK USA is invested in seeing our people grow, and for the right candidate, willing to help them obtain an operating license in CA.ResponsibilitiesTypical duties include---Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical distribution and protection circuits up to 480VAC.---Document all work using CDs, P&Ids, logic prints.---Execute work in a safe and expedient manner according to the following priorities:o Emergency corrective maintenance daily and call-inso Execution of capital and maintenance projects.o Audit preventive/ predictive maintenanceo Routine corrective maintenance---Provide practical solutions to operations problems.o Inspecting & testing elements of electrical systems to locate and diagnose faultso Performing required repairs through replacement of inoperative parts or re-wiring of circuits in accordance with industry codes---Reduce the likelihood of an interruption of electrical power to critical operations by monitoring and repairing regulated power supplies to computer systems and equipment requiring constant voltage with minimal fluctuation---Promote preventative maintenance as a strategy in maintaining electronic test equipment and mechanical tools by keeping accurate records---Look for opportunities to help work get done safer, faster and more cost effectivelyThe ideal candidate meets these qualifications ---Excellent communication and problem solving skills---High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred---We strongly prefer licensing as a C-10 Electrical Contractor through the California Department of Consumer Affairs CLSB or certified electrician per California Labor Code Section 108 through 108.5 with a minimum 5 years' experience as a General Electrician.---Experience interpreting wiring diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics---Computer literacy is requiredWorking conditionsThe job is performed in a manufacturing plant. Exposure to loud noises, dust, dirt, heat, sparks, oil, and smoke may occur. Protective safety equipment is required including appropriate clothing, shoes, gloves, hardhat, and goggles as needed.
