Ready Mix QC/Sales Rep The Don Chapin Company, Inc. is seeking a motivated, engaged team player to join our staff. The QC/Sales Rep will assist and report to the QC and Sales Manager is tasks that may be assigned to him or her. QC/Sales Rep will work closely with customers and prospective customers to provide project quotes, mix designs, and other support services. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES : Work with Sales Manager to develop quotations for projects that may be assigned to him or her Assist in the day-to-day activities of providing mix designs, and other support services to customers and Team members Produce reports and project analysis as requested Assist in batching, dispatching, lab work, material collection, and other functions the Team members may need from time to time ESSENTIAL AND SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE A Bachelor's degree is not necessary but desirable in engineering or equivalent ACI Certifications in Ready Mix production and field experience/training. Minimum 3 years' experience in the Ready Mix industry Ability to read and understand construction plans and project specifications as they relate to Ready Mixed concrete. Some lab experience would be a plus Some physical concrete ready mix experience (driving, batching, plant work, lab work, etc.) would be a plus E Must have excellent computer and writing skills; Microsoft Office Suite, Access, Command Alkon, spread sheets, Excell, database or other system knowledge. Excellent written and verbal communications and management skills Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations. Attention to detail and the ability to work in an organized manner Ability to drive to outside project and plant locations Ability to work nights and weekends should the project require. Able to work well with senior executives, department heads and managers, as well as mentor co-workers.
